As a history teacher with a love for French culture, staying at the Mercure in Besancon was a delightful experience for my family. Not only was the location ideal, being close to both the city center and the picturesque casino garden on the Doubs River, but the hotel itself catered well to families.We enjoyed exploring Besancon's historic sites, conveniently accessible from the hotel. The staff's warm hospitality made our stay even more pleasant. However, what truly stood out were the family-friendly amenities provided by the Mercure. The welcoming atmosphere and inclusive services ensured that my daughter felt comfortable and entertained throughout our time there.From the spacious rooms to the onsite activities, the Mercure in Besancon proved to be a fantastic choice for families looking for a well-rounded and accommodating stay. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a blend of history, comfort, and family-friendly convenience.
